GIFT is an event dedicated to the culture of innovative entrepreneurship and is aimed primarily at university and PhD students.

During this event 5 successful startup teams, originating from academic research, will present their company’s technological reference and relevant future scenarios. The entrepreneurs will present their company business models and tell their story of personal entrepreneurial growth: the motivation, challenges, difficulties, ambition and the satisfactions.

The aim of this presentation is to show the impact that scientific research has on the innovation process in different sectors. Local startups are invited with the intent of having them share how successful hi-tech entrepreneurial paths, emerge in specific innovative ecosystems.

STARTUP

EVO

Evo is a startup at the forefront of the global retail technology revolution. It develops artificial intelligence with granular, accurate, data-based models that help companies make better automated decisions. Working with customers all around the world in multiple languages, for example the areas of retail and fashion, from London and Turin offices with over 30 people.

The event is free, but to participate you need to register through the following steps. We would like to clarify that both steps are necessary to ensure a place in the audience for the I3P event.

The presentations of the startups will be accompanied by moments of interaction with the public of students and young researchers. During the event, initiatives will be promoted for entrepreneurial education and the Piedmont Valle d’Aosta Start Cup competition, which in 2019 has a section dedicated to teams of university students only. There will be an idea-corner for the collection of student contacts and subsequent engagement activities on projects of the Politecnico di Torino and I3P.

The event will end with a networking aperitif.
